If you like watching people play mind games, check out The
Prisoner Appreciation Society (Six of One) site with a "village" full
of links on the 1967 series starring Patrick McGoohan. After resigning
his job as a secret agent, our hero is kidnapped and taken to an unknown
island referred to as the Village. Known only as Number 6, he resists
the continuous attempts of Number 2 to find out why he has resigned, while
trying to gain his freedom from the village. alt.tv.prisoner

If you like the Prisoner, or if you are looking for something different
on TV, you may want to check out the Pretender. The Pretender
can mimic the thoughts and skills of any person, man, woman, or child.
His abilities and those of his fellow pretenders allow them to simulate
events to determine the outcome. They can simulate past events, like a
plane crash, to study the thoughts and reactions of the people involved.
They can also simulate potential situations, like a hostage rescue, so
that their observers can collect critical data about the possible reactions
of the participants. His skills make the Pretender, and those like him,
very valuable to the Centre. The Centre's most promising Pretender, Jarod,
has escaped, and they are hunting him down. This mix of Sci-Fi and drama
has new twists and turns every week. alt.tv.pretender

propose theories, and meet other fans.

The shows listed here are good because of there quirkiness. They don't
necessarily fit into a single category, but are worth checking out if you
have the chance.
-
The
Iron
Giant is a really great animated movie from Warner
Brothers. They are doing a very poor job promoting it so I thought
that I would help them out. If you can see this film in a theater, you
will get the full experience. What I mean is that the sound effects won't
sound the same when it is on video. BUY IT!
-
DueSouth.com is dedicated to the
